Space Association of Australia

The Space Association of Australia is an incorporated, nonprofit and non-political public-interest organization devoted to spaceflight and space exploration. Based in Melbourne and active since 1981, it promotes the peaceful exploration and use of outer space, encourages Australian space research and applications, and gives enthusiasts, educators, researchers, industry participants, and the public a regular forum for sharing knowledge. The association holds monthly public meetings and specialist lectures, arranges exhibitions and visits to aerospace facilities, distributes member news, contributes public perspectives to national space-policy discussions, and produces The Space Show, a weekly Melbourne radio program and podcast covering space and astronomy news, interviews, and analysis.
