The Suriname Air Traffic Controllers Association (SATCA) is the independent professional association representing air traffic controllers in Suriname. Founded in 1965, it promotes aviation safety, professional standards, training, adequate staffing, modern air-navigation systems, and safe working conditions across the country's airport towers and area-control service. SATCA joined the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations in 2025, adding Surinamese operational experience to global technical and professional cooperation.
