The Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences

The Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (JSASS) is Japan’s general incorporated aerospace learned society, whose mission is to advance aeronautical and space research by providing venues for fundamental and applied research, knowledge exchange, information, journals, conferences, technical tours, research investigations, awards, grants recommendations, and international cooperation. Its 15 authorized technical committees span aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, aircraft design and operations, air traffic management, astrodynamics, space systems, and space utilization; current 2026 programming includes its 57th Annual Meeting and multiple aerospace conferences.
