Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK)
The Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK), legally Türk Hava Kurumu Derneği, is Türkiye's public-benefit civil aviation and air-sports association. Founded in 1925 as Türk Tayyare Cemiyeti and renamed in 1935, it promotes aviation knowledge and participation, develops young aviators, operates national training and sporting programs across disciplines from gliding and parachuting to model aircraft and ballooning, organizes competitions and records, and serves as Türkiye's national member of the World Air Sports Federation.
