The Uganda Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (UGATCA) is the national professional body representing air traffic controllers in Uganda. Established in 1988 and affiliated with the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations since 1989, it works with the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority and other aviation stakeholders to promote safe, efficient, and orderly air traffic services. UGATCA supports professional development, member welfare, technical exchange, community outreach, and regional cooperation. Based in Entebbe, it is also organizing the 2027 IFATCA Annual Conference in Kampala to strengthen controller collaboration across Africa and internationally.
