Completed NASA Game Changing Development project that advanced a rotating detonation rocket chamber using additive manufacturing. ARDVARC-ACO pursued the 10 to 15 percent specific-impulse potential of rotating detonation combustion, shorter chamber length, lower chamber L-star, and reduced coolant-channel pressure drop while building on NASA regenerative GRCop-alloy chamber experience. The project targeted higher-performance launch and in-space propulsion for lunar, Mars, and deep-space vehicles.
