Affordable Vehicle Avionics (AVA)

NASA TechPort describes AVA as a completed Game Changing Development project led by NASA Ames Research Center with Marshall Space Flight Center support. The low-cost, self-contained guidance, navigation, and control avionics system targets nanolaunch vehicles, combining commercial sensors, GPS, and error-correcting software to reduce launch costs while preserving flight-test performance and reliability.
