Aviation Gasoline Initiative

An FAA initiative coordinating the safe transition of the general-aviation piston fleet from 100LL to unleaded aviation gasoline. The current transition plan uses phased fuel testing and authorization, market and airport deployment experience, a national transition outside Alaska, and a distinct Alaska phase, while FAA works with EAGLE stakeholders through PAFI, fleet authorization, and Supplemental Type Certificate pathways.
