ESA's Cluster mission was a four-spacecraft constellation launched in two pairs on 16 July and 9 August 2000 to study the solar wind and Earth's magnetosphere in three dimensions. The long-running mission provided detailed space-plasma measurements before ending with the reentry of Salsa on 8 September 2024.
