Comet Interceptor Program

ESA’s Comet Interceptor is a planned Cosmic Vision F-class mission in development with JAXA collaboration. Three spacecraft will wait at the Sun–Earth L2 point and then fly by a dynamically new long-period comet or interstellar object from multiple directions, creating a three-dimensional profile of material preserved from the early Solar System.
