Demonstration of Multiphase Microfluidics for Chemical Analysis Systems (FORGE)

NASA TechPort describes FORGE as a completed Flight Opportunities demonstration of multiphase microfluidic reservoirs for chemical analysis across gravity environments. The system uses shaped and wetted reservoirs plus a high-voltage electric field to guide bubbles, preventing flow blockage and advancing end-to-end fluidic systems toward TRL 6 for planetary and other precision-analysis missions.
