Enhanced Autonomous Refueling Capability for Gateway and Surface Systems

Enhanced Autonomous Refueling Capability for Gateway and Surface Systems develops and tests a pilot autonomous refueling and commodity-management capability for Gateway and other spacecraft. Using NASA Stennis Space Center’s NASA Platform for Autonomous Systems and a Gateway refueling breadboard, the completed project implemented hierarchical distributed autonomy and validated nominal and off-nominal operations for a reference fuel-transfer system, supporting Artemis and Moon-to-Mars missions.
