NASA Electrojet Zeeman Imaging Explorer (EZIE) is an active heliophysics program launched on 15 March 2025. Its three SmallSats study and image auroral electrojets, powerful electrical currents in Earth’s polar upper atmosphere, to improve understanding of the coupled Sun–magnetosphere system and space-weather effects.
