NASA’s Habitable Worlds Program uses Earth’s history and life as guides to understand the processes that create and maintain habitable environments, search for ancient and contemporary habitable environments, and assess the possibility of life beyond Earth across Mars, icy worlds, and habitable exoplanets and moons.
