HTV-X Program
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency HTV-X is a next-generation uncrewed cargo-transfer program succeeding KOUNOTORI. HTV-X1 launched on 26 October 2025 aboard H3 F7 and demonstrated orbital logistics at the International Space Station; the spacecraft is designed for increased cargo and payload capability, late cargo loading, on-orbit experiments, and potential future resupply of the Lunar-Orbital Platform-Gateway.
