Human Exploration Telerobotics (HET)

NASA TechPort describes HET as a completed Technology Demonstration Missions project led by NASA Ames Research Center with Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Johnson Space Center support. ISS demonstrations evaluated humanoid Robonaut 2, free-flying SmartSPHERES, remote operations, dexterous manipulation, and open-source telerobotics for routine or hazardous work before deep-space crewed missions.
