ICAO Programme for Aviation Volunteers

ICAO framework for deploying aviation professionals as volunteers to respond to emergencies affecting a State’s aviation system, strengthen capabilities to implement ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, and foster self-reliance. Its continuing assignment portfolio supports civil-aviation oversight, institution and capacity building, operational advice, documentation, workshops, seminars, and non-certification training at the request of States or partner agencies.
