India's national space-based remote-sensing programme, managed by the Indian Space Research Organisation to develop and operate Earth-observation satellites and sensors, maintain ground reception, processing, archives, and data services, and deliver operational information for natural resources, agriculture, water, oceans, planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
