KARI International Space Training (KARIST) is the Korea Aerospace Research Institute’s recurring international capacity-building programme for young professionals from developing countries and emerging spacefaring nations. Since 2010, KARI has run an annual two-week course; by 2022, 336 trainees from 36 countries had participated. KARI’s 2024 annual report also documents tailored online cohorts for ASEAN countries, ALCE member states, and other emerging space nations.
