KOMPSAT Programme
South Korea Korea Multi-purpose Satellite (KOMPSAT), also known as Arirang, is a sustained national Earth-observation programme begun in 1994. KARI operates and develops successive optical, radar, and infrared satellite series with shared ground infrastructure and data services, while current KOMPSAT-Next spacecraft extend the programme through industry-led development and continuing national satellite operations.
