Lunar-g Combustion Investigation (LUCI) is a completed NASA experiment led by Glenn Research Center that flew on Blue Origin’s New Shepard NS-29 on 2025-02-04 to investigate material flammability in simulated lunar gravity. LUCI validated a drop-tower/centrifuge experimental platform, compared flight and ground data, and produced post-flight results supporting future Flammability of Materials on the Moon testing and safer lunar-surface habitats.
