NASA Platform for Autonomous Systems (NPAS)

NASA Platform for Autonomous Systems (NPAS) develops reusable, distributed hierarchical autonomy for spacecraft and ground systems. NASA Stennis Space Center’s platform extends model-based systems engineering into live operational models for real-time autonomy, integrating autonomy strategies, system-health management, reusable system-element libraries, mission planning and scheduling, and operator interfaces. The completed work supported Gateway and Artemis autonomy, crew-health decision support, and the ASTRA on-orbit demonstration.
