NASA Solar System Exploration Program

NASA’s Solar System Exploration Program consists of large, strategic missions that pursue high-priority planetary-science objectives set by the planetary-science community. Because of their complexity, NASA typically assigns these efforts directly to a NASA center or another implementing organization; they investigate synergistic objectives with greater depth and breadth than smaller Discovery and New Frontiers missions.
