Queqiao-2 Program
Queqiao-2 (Magpie Bridge-2) is a Chinese Lunar Exploration Program relay-communications mission launched on 20 March 2024 into lunar orbit. The spacecraft provides Earth–Moon communications for far-side and south-pole missions, supported Chang’e-6’s far-side sample return, and is designed to support Chang’e-7 and Chang’e-8 as China develops its lunar research-station architecture.
