Roman Program

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is a planned flagship astrophysics observatory designed to survey the infrared universe and investigate dark energy, dark matter, exoplanets, and broad questions in galaxy and planetary science. NASA's current schedule targets launch on 30 August 2026, after which Roman will operate from a Sun-Earth L2 orbit with a field of view at least 100 times wider than Hubble's.
