Rosalind Franklin Program

ESA’s Rosalind Franklin rover mission is a planned ExoMars surface mission to search for signs of past or present life beneath Mars’s surface. The rover will drill and analyse subsurface samples at Oxia Planum; NASA is supplying the launch service, lander descent propulsion, radioisotope heater units, and components of the Mars Organic Molecule Analyzer for the late-2028 mission.
