Space Technology Cells
ISRO’s national academic research programme comprising nine Space Technology Cells at leading Indian institutions, governed by joint policy and technical committees to approve continuing space-technology and space-applications research. The 2025 ISRO–STC Confluence brought together about 150 faculty members and 50 senior ISRO scientists around projects from the nine cells, while current research-area and RESPOND proposal cycles continue to align academic work with ISRO’s mission needs.
