ISRO’s programme operating six regional Space Technology Incubation Centres (S-TICs) that connect academia, industry, and ISRO to turn student and researcher ideas into space-technology prototypes and future start-ups. The six centres span Central, East, North, North-East, South, and West India; ISRO reported six product/prototype projects completed and 37 in progress in FY 2023–24, with more than 350 students receiving hands-on incubation by 2022. 2025 central-region and Rourkela activities continue the regional research and proposal pipeline.
