SpaDeX (Space Docking Experiment) is an Indian Space Research Organisation technology-demonstration program that launched two small spacecraft on 30 December 2024 to develop and demonstrate autonomous rendezvous, docking, undocking, and power-transfer operations in low Earth orbit. ISRO completed the first docking in January 2025, successful undocking in March 2025, and a second docking with bidirectional power transfer in April 2025, establishing capabilities relevant to future servicing, human-spaceflight, and sample-return missions.
