Young Scientist Programme (YUVIKA)

ISRO’s Young Scientist Programme (YUva VIgyani KAryakram, YUVIKA) is a recurring national outreach programme that gives selected Indian school students residential, hands-on exposure to space science, technology and applications. The sixth edition in 2026 expanded to nine ISRO centres after five prior editions that trained 1,320 students, combining lectures, facility visits, model-rocketry and other practical activities to build a continuing STEM pipeline.
