NASA's chronology records Aerojet-General delivery of the first flight engines for GLV No. 1, and NASA dates Gemini I's first production Titan II launch to 1964-04-08; this record uses that date as the assembly's first flight. The assembly used two independently operating thrust-chamber/turbopump subassemblies on one frame; NASA's Gemini-Titan table lists two engines at 215,000 lbf (about 956.3 kN) sea-level thrust each, using UDMH and nitrogen tetroxide.
