Ivchenko-Progress AI-25TL trainer turbofan

The Ivchenko-Progress AI-25TL is a two-shaft trainer turbofan used in the Aero L-39 Albatros and related training aircraft. Motor Sich's current product page documents the zero/negative-g lubrication system, operation of AI-25 versions in more than 40 countries, and 1,720 kgf (16.87 kN) maximum takeoff thrust; the Czech Ministry of Defence independently identifies the AI-25TL as the L-39 engine at the same thrust class. Current manufacturer support and documented widespread operation support active in-service status without claiming a new-aircraft production rate.
