Argus As 014 pulsejet
Argus As 014, also designated 109-014, is a valved historical pulsejet used on the German Fi 103/V-1 flying bomb. Its periodic fuel-air combustion and inlet-valve cycle produced the characteristic buzz. The V-1 operational system used ground-ramp and air-launch arrangements to place the pilotless missile into flight before its cruise segment.
