Blue Origin BE-4 is a liquefied-natural-gas/liquid-oxygen, oxygen-rich staged-combustion liquid rocket engine developed for the first stages of ULA Vulcan and Blue Origin New Glenn. ULA identifies two BE-4 methane-fueled engines on the Vulcan VC2S booster that flew on the 2024-01-08 Cert-1 mission, establishing the exact first-flight boundary for this engine model.
