F135 family

Pratt & Whitney F135 afterburning turbofan family for all three variants of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Its fifth-generation propulsion system delivers more than 40,000 pounds of thrust with low-observable signature, advanced thermal management, and integrated engine control; Pratt & Whitney reports more than 1,300 F135 engines powering the global F-35 fleet and over one million engine flight hours. The family evolved from the F119, with exact F135 variants and installations modeled separately.
