Williams International FJ44 is a family of compact two-spool turbofan engines for light business jets. A low-pressure turbine drives the fan and intermediate-pressure compressor, while a separate high-pressure turbine drives a centrifugal compressor. Bypass air flows around the core and rejoins the exhaust stream. The current FJ33/FJ44 product brochure describes dual-channel full-authority digital engine control, and identifies the FJ44-1AP, FJ44-3 and FJ44-4 among the production offerings.
