Lycoming O-360 family
Lycoming O-360 is a family of four-cylinder, horizontally opposed, air-cooled aircraft piston engines with direct drive and 360 cubic inches of displacement. Depending on model, its induction system uses a float-type or pressure-type carburetor to supply the cylinders through individual intake pipes. The related IO-360 uses fuel injection, so O-360 and IO-360 identify different fuel-system branches of the broader 360-series architecture.
