Pratt & Whitney Canada's PW210 is a modular turboshaft family for intermediate and medium helicopters. Its gas generator uses a two-stage centrifugal compressor, a single-stage driving turbine and a reverse-flow combustor. A separate two-stage power turbine drives the output shaft through a front-mounted reduction gearbox. The reduction and accessory gearboxes are combined to reduce package size, while dual-channel full-authority digital engine control manages the engine and provides maintenance diagnostics.
