KBKhA LOX/naphthyl liquid-rocket engine for the second stage of the Soyuz-5 launch vehicle. The development configuration combines two blocks on a common frame and thermal protection; each block has two diagonally arranged combustion chambers, two-plane chamber steering, and capability to continue operation after shutdown of one block. KBKhA reports 60.34 tf vacuum thrust and 361 s vacuum specific impulse; development tests are complete and a flight article has been delivered, but no operational launch is yet evidenced.
