AIAA UNSW Design Build Fly
AIAA UNSW Design Build Fly is a student aircraft-design team formed in late 2018 within UNSW's ChallENG program. Students design and build a multipurpose radio-controlled aircraft for the annual AIAA Design/Build/Fly competition, with work spanning manufacture, systems integration, flight testing, aircraft optimisation and VTOL development. The team placed 24th overall in 2024. In 2025 it completed Mission 1, finished 52nd overall and won the Best Paper Award with a design-report score of 97.58.
