AIAA UNSW Design Build Fly
AIAA UNSW Design Build Fly is a continuing student aircraft-design team formed in 2018 within UNSW's ChallENG student projects. Each season, students design and build a multipurpose radio-controlled aircraft, optimise the DBF aircraft and VTOL development, and compete in the annual AIAA Design Build Fly competition. Official 2024/2025 competition reporting documents aircraft manufacturing, tech inspection, Mission 1 flight, a 24th-place result and a Best Paper Award. This record is scoped only to the UNSW DBF team and does not attribute UNSW Rocketry, Bluesat or unrelated projects.
