AntelSat Team

Historically important Universidad de la República student, faculty, and engineering team that developed AntelSat with Uruguay’s national telecommunications company. The project involved mostly university students across spacecraft structure, power, communications, attitude control, scientific payloads, ground systems, testing, launch integration, and operations, producing Uruguay’s first satellite in orbit in 2014.
