Duke AERO is a Duke University student rocketry team with around 40 active members. The team designs and fabricates high-powered sounding rockets, student-researched solid motors, avionics, active control and recovery systems, and other flight hardware for the International Rocket Engineering Competition. Its 2025 Perseus rocket launched and was recovered after a stability issue caused it to undershoot its target apogee; Duke AERO is also continuing development of a liquid engine and its next competition rocket.
