Electric Propulsion Initiative

The Electric Propulsion Initiative (ION-I) is a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student organization providing an undergraduate research environment for the development and testing of a student-built electric-propulsion thruster for deep-space propulsion. It is a distinct propulsion team; no flight, orbital, patent-grant, or operational-spacecraft claim is made.
