HyPower Bristol
HyPower Bristol is a University of Bristol high-power rocketry team working within BristolSEDS. The team was brought together in 2020 and brings interdisciplinary students from undergraduate to PhD level together for repeated rocket development and launches. Official BristolSEDS sources document a 2024 liquid-bipropellant launch vehicle effort with a 5 kN engine, propellant tanks, control systems, and a full launch vehicle, as well as European Rocketry Challenge participation. The University of Bristol separately reports BristolSEDS student engine testing at 6,000 N in 2025; this description does not attribute that result to HyPower Bristol specifically.
