IIT Bombay Student Satellite Program

Student-led satellite programme founded in 2007 and now involving more than 70 IIT Bombay students. The team designed, built, launched, and operated the Pratham ionospheric research satellite in 2016, continued with CubeSat and subsystem development, and is now developing Navika, a 6U CubeSat mission to demonstrate vision-based proximity operations and docking. Its work spans mission architecture, spacecraft structures, avionics, attitude control, payloads, flight software, RF communications, ground stations, integration, testing, and operations.
