ITU Gamma Team
ITU Gamma is an Istanbul Technical University student project team founded in 2019, developing original systems for swarm-UAV and combat-UAV competitions. Its avionics and software groups combine vehicle development with multi-agent autonomy and competition testing. The university documents fourth place and Best Presentation in the 2020 swarm-UAV simulation event, third place and Best Presentation in the 2022 swarm-robot event, and second place in the 2023 mixed-swarm competition. Gamma was a 2024 swarm-UAV finalist and a 2025 combat-UAV finalist. Its 2024 and 2025 critical-design-report scores qualified it for competition funding.
