RockSat-X at Virginia Tech

RockSat-X at Virginia Tech is a continuing student rocket and satellite design team. Virginia Tech’s aerospace department describes RockSat-X as a student design team using modular payload space on NASA and Colorado Space Grant sounding rockets, while the current team roster documents project leadership and avionics, mechanical, software, telemetry, safety, and testing roles. The team develops and tests payload systems for low-cost access to space; no unsupported launch outcome is claimed.
