Semillero de Cohetería UIS Aeroespacial (SCUA)
Universidad Industrial de Santander student aerospace-research team founded in 2014. SCUA develops experimental sounding rockets, solid propulsion, avionics, telemetry, CanSat payloads, and uncrewed aircraft. Its 18-person interdisciplinary 2022 Latin American Space Challenge team designed the Orion rocket and GuaneSat CanSat, winning the CanSat category and the combined satellite classification; the seedbed remains listed by the university's Mechanical Engineering school and institutional research system.
