Space Raiders is the rocketry subgroup of Texas Tech University’s Raider Aerospace Society. The 2026 Texas Tech Engineering report describes 25 students designing, manufacturing, testing, and flying a 10,000-foot student-researched-and-developed rocket for the International Rocket Engineering Competition; the team placed first at IREC 2026, with a 10,004-foot flight and perfect recovery score.
