Spartan Flight
Spartan Flight is San José State University’s student-run autonomous drone engineering team, founded in 2025. The multidisciplinary team designs, builds, and flight-tests the X650 autonomous quadcopter for the 2026 Student Unmanned Aerial Systems competition, with custom airframe, battery-management, power, computer-vision, navigation, mapping, and payload-delivery systems.
